Jesus is baptized by John in the river Jordon.

Do not be afraid
Words of comfort. Words of strength.  Words of encouragement.

This is the First Luminous Mystery.
It remembers that Jesus went to John the Baptist in order to be baptized.
John was amazed and told Jesus that it was John that needed to be baptized by Jesus and not Jesus by John.
Jesus told John not to be afraid.
Jesus said that this action was needed in order to fulfill all righteousness.
John baptized Jesus.
Immediately there appeared from heaven a dove and descended upon Jesus. It was the Holy Spirit
God proclaimed from heaven that Jesus was the son of God and that God was very pleased with His son.
Hail Mary Full of grace
The Lord is with You
Blessed are you among women
And blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen.
Holy Jesus, Son of God,
Be with us sinners now,
and acknowledge us at the hour of our death. Amen
Holy Spirit, Counsel of God
Teach us sinners now
and plead for us until the hour of our death. Amen
Holy Father, for Jesus' sake
Forgive us sinners now
and accept us at the hour of our death. Amen
