People are not only physical beings, they are
also spiritual beings. The one is not exclusive
of the other. Both physical and spiritual reside
together during earthly life. They are intertwined and permeated,
one of the other. Therefore, we need our physical
selves to practice and express our spiritual selves. And we need
our spiritual selves to inform and motivate our physical selves
to do the right thing.

In our personal lives, prayer is a powerful source of
spiritual power. It is a super natural method of communication between us and that which beyond us.

Passage of the Day

"In dwelling, be close to the land. In meditation, go deep in the heart. In dealing with others, be gentle and kind. In speech, be true. In ruling, be just. In daily life, be competent. In action, be aware of the time and the season."

Commentary:

I often find myself obsessing on things which don't really matter. This passage reminds me that the basic principles of life can and should be simple.
